The calendar reads 'early Summer' but the weather itself seems to have a rather different plan this June: rain by the reservoirful, cloud to make night of day, and of course ... wind. Fortunately the conditions vary over the kingdom, and the month is young.
How is the new season seen through the poet's eyes? Roberto tells all.
A June wind
I love the way our sea-breeze brings,
The sea unseen, on unseen wings,
Unheeding of all living things,
Save stalwart trees, through whom she sings.
